Welcome to Dillon

Serene, picturesque and idyllic, this quiet town is surrounded by wilderness

Filled with outdoor adventure and a thriving arts and shopping scene, Dillon, which is nestled along the Ten Mile and Gore Mountain ranges, is best known for its stunning alpine scenery and proximity to several world-renowned ski resorts.

Located in the central region of Summit County, this quiet town is surrounded by hundreds of miles of wilderness and features several rapid-heavy rivers and cold-water fishing holes. At the Dillon Marina — the highest deep-water marina in North America — locals tool around on pontoon boats and paddleboards, and 26 miles of shoreline is reserved for sunbathing and picnicking.

Lakeside concerts take place at the newly renovated Dillon Amphitheater each summer. The Dillon Farmers Market, which runs every Friday from June through September, offers some of Colorado’s best produce and artisan goods.

Scenic trails abound here, but if you prefer indoor activities, check out the nearby Outlets at Silverthorne, a multiplex of more than 70 name-brand stores, or visit the Frisco Pedestrian Promenade, where three blocks of Main Street have been transformed into an open-air shopping and dining experience for pedestrians and bikes only.
