Keystone

Consisting of five main areas—East Keystone, River Run Village, Mountain House Base Area, Lakeside Village, and Keystone Ranch—family-friendly Keystone is best known for its alpine feel and beautiful mountain views. This scenic town is full of lodging, retail, and restaurants, and it’s a haven for skiers in the winter and full of festivals, concerts, and more during the summer.

There’s a fire pit in the village center that serves as a gathering spot, and the town is known for its night skiing events. In the summer, Keystone Lake is open to paddle boats and canoes, and a grand fireworks show happens every Saturday. When the lake freezes over in the winter, all five acres are maintained by a Zamboni, allowing families to skate and play hockey.

Festivals and street fairs are held regularly here, and two world-class golf courses — the River Course and the Keystone Colorado Ranch Course — are located in town. Scenic gondola rides and river rafting are also unique to Keystone, and there are plenty of hiking and biking trails at the top of Keystone Mountain.

Condos and mountain lodges primarily dominate Keystone, CO's real estate landscape. Many of Keystone's homes and properties are situated near the ski slopes and feature ample summer amenities like large porches and outdoor gathering spaces.
